Boy, Bandit and I have a lot to catch up on. I have discovered the trashcan buffet. My humom doesn't always close the lid tight on the kitchen pail, and wow, my nose is always sniffing out the good stuff.
My humom is doing better. I like to think it's all the husky kisses we give her.

Like Bandit's feet? Our humans took us to the Bark Park. Our human Mommy said it was time for us to run (and that she needed to get out of the house). Bandit found a bunch of holes, plus she started a few of her own. Hee hee. Silly girl, there's nothing in that ground. I didn't smell any thing of interest.
I met some new friends yesterday. There was this Boxer, named Lucy that would not leave me alone. She's really not my type and she followed me everywhere. When I took a big drink from the water bucket, she licked the water dripping from my mouth. EEWWWWwww. Of course, my main girl, Bandit, didn't appreciate that.
Oh, oh, oh, you should have seen this brown lab. Funny fellow. He jumped head first into the big mud hole down by the fence. My human Dad came running down to me yelling, ELLIS. He's so funny. Does he really think I'm going to jump into a mud hole and get my beautiful fur dirty?
Our human had to explain to a few less than friendly humans that we really weren't wolves and that we were friendly. Come on, look at me. I'm a friendly type of dog. Just come close enough and I'll give you a kiss. Just because one other human had a bad experience with a Sibe, doesn't mean we're all bad.

Woooo's to all our husky friends. We are a couple of happy Sibes today. Mom let us go out front today. We're keeping a close eye on the neighbor's yard. There's a duck nest in his bushes. Our humans had to make sure we couldn't reach the nest, but that doesn't stop us from staring at it! We've got to protect our house from the ducks.
This is our family, minus the boy. Our humans told us he was supposed to be there for the picture, but he didn't come. That's OK. Look our beautiful we both are. LOL

Bandit's turn

My name is Bandit and I'm the pretty one. I'm really a Princess. A Siberian Husky Princess! I started my life out in a puppy mill and my humans bought me from a pet store. They want you to know that this was before they knew about husky rescue or that buying a puppy from a pet store is just plain wrong. Well, good for me though. I have a great home with a big back yard, 2 large humans, and 3 small ones. The boy has gone off to college, whatever that is. They keep telling me they'll take me to see him, but he keeps coming home. I wanna see where the boy lives!! He told me they have lots of squirrels where he lives. I like squirrels.
My humans decided that I needed company because I was being destructive. Destructive. I live for destruction. I will attack any beanie baby within striking distance. As a puppy, I ate toys, attacked a steam cleaner, ate a few shoes, and refused to be trained by the humans. My human Mommy didn't want another puppy, but she found me my El Man. OH, he's sooo handsome. We are inseparable. Our humans call us the destructive duo.
Ellis speaks out
Our human Mommy has decided it's time to make our woos more vocal. We are two Siberian Huskies with papers. Whatever that means. We love biscuits, long walks by the pond, chasing the cats in the house, smelling other dogs, and lounging on the couch in front of the big box that makes noise.
My name is Ellis and I'll be your host. I'm the intelligent one. (that's because I'm the tallest.) I have wonderful long ears and legs, beautiful blue eyes, and enjoy giving kisses. Keep the brush away from me. I don't like and I'm not afraid to let my human know it. I love cheese cubes and will do just about anything to get one. That includes getting loose off my chain and going to the other side of the pond in my back yard. I just want to get a close up look at the ducks. My human doesn't like that, so she stands on the back patio and shakes the cheese cube bag. Funny human. I'd come back home eventually. I know where you keep the cheese cubes. (the big black box in the kitchen!)
I'm a rescue (whatever that is) from Indy Homes for Huskies. My foster Mom was JoLynn. She was kind enough to come and get me from the animal shelter. I was supposed to stay with her because I was going to be a rescue failure. What the heck is that? She fell in love with me. What's not to love? But she had to move out of town and had to find homes for her fosters. Here's a shout out to my buddy Vegas!! She took me to Pets Mart one day to meet up with this fine chick. Her name was Bandit and she had the most beautiful blue eyes. I immediately kissed her. We played and played. Oh how I wanted her to go home with us, but she left with her humans and I went home with JoLynn.
Not long after that, JoLynn took me to visit Bandit. We played and had a great time. The funny human girls were eating cheese fish. FISH!! I love fish. I jumped on the girls and made them scream and laugh. They had fish!! Oh, I liked this house. I saw tears in JoLynn's eyes and knew she was sad. She hugged me a lot that day and I gave her lots of husky kisses. She got in her car. Car? Oh yeah, let's go for a ride, JoLynn. But she didn't let me get in the car. She drove off and left me with the humans and Bandit. I love it here. I have all the biscuits a husky could ask for. I have the love of a beautiful dog. (she's sooo fine!) I also have a wonderful human family. They have their flaws though. They have cats. I like cats. I give the mean fat one kisses but I'm really just tasting her. Life is as it should be. I'm happy and that's what matters!
